Fun Spanish Learning App – MindSnacks Spanish

Post image for Fun Spanish Learning App – MindSnacks Spanish

MindSnacks Spanish is a language learning app.  It does a great job at building the learning into game play, so the learning is fun.

When you first start the app, you will have an option to take a Spanish test to find out your level.  You can also skip the test and start at level 1, which is “numbers”.  You will have a list of Spanish vocabulary to study before playing games.  Each word/phrase has a picture and an audio from a native Spanish speaker.  The games are interactive, and if you do well, you get to unlock more games.  There are six types of interactive games that help build Spanish vocabulary, improve reading, writing, listening skills.  According to the App developers, the app uses a unique learning algorithm of memorization to make sure you don’t forget the material you learn as you progress through the course.
There are 50 levels of lessons.  Each level has a new set of Spanish words and phrases to learn.  The app keeps track your scores and learning progress so you can easily see how much you have learned.

Features from the app store:
• Six unique mini-games
• 50 Spanish lessons designed by top-notch Ivy League instructors (Upgrade required for all 50 lessons)
• 1400+ words and phrases to master
• 1400+ native Spanish-speaker audio clips
• Growing library of images to serve as a visual learning aid
• Personalized learning algorithms to maximize memorization and retention
• 24 fun challenges to keep you motivated!

iGameMom Comments:

Vocabulary is the building block of a new language.  It can get very boring when you try to memorize the words.  Mindsnacks Spanish makes the boring part of language learning so much fun that kids would love to learn.  The initial download is free, and it comes with your first lesson and two games.  If you like it, you can get the whole package of 50 lessons via in-app purchase at $4.99.  It is a good language app for kids and parents.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the link provided. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support!

Check it out at App Store:      US      UK       Canada      Australia

Can you download and use this app from a pc? If so, how do I do it thru you? I’d like for my teen son and I to play the spanish games together- can two people take the tests and work at their own level?

This is great! My daughter wants to learn Spanish and I am pushing French. Let us know if there’s a good French one out there, in the meantime I will yield to her wishes with this app.

It is a good app. The design – not just the game, but also the learning mechanism, is very good.

Thanks for stopping by! Your new site looks great. I am thinking about migrating my own site and am glad to see yours looking so terrific. I need an app that locks my keyboard keys away from little fingers. :-)

It is great if there is a key like that :-) a keyboard reads figure prints.
