For Limited time, Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku is FREE. Both my son and I played the games. It does a great job in breaking down the Sudoku concept at a level that even a Kindergartener can understand and play the game. It is fun also. Lola’s Fruit Shop Sudoku begins with an easy level for young children: they play a 3×3 fruit game with 3 different kinds of fruit. The level has attractive animated instructions, so children really learn to play the game quickly without even knowing what Sudoku is. On the other hand, the hard level uses numbers and a bigger 4 x 4 grid, so it provides fun and challenge even for children who are a bit older. Naturally, the game proceeds smoothly from each level to the next, so it is never too difficult for the player.

Is the app available for Android, do you know? My daughter has recently taken an interest in sudoku and this looks like something she might enjoy. Thanks.
It is available for Mac OS computers, iPhone, iPad, Nintendo 3DS and DSi, Nokia S60 and MeeGo devices.

It is a very well designed app. The developer knows the kids very well and did a great job in taking the Sudoku concept to the kids level without losing the fun component.
