Matching Games by CosmoCamp is a simple yet entirely engrossing game for kids that teaches memory skills along with learning colors, shapes, numbers, and letters. It comes with two different modes, toddler and preschool, to grow with your child, chosen each time you open the app or easily changeable in the parents only area of the app.
The matching app has three games: Classic, Hide and Seek, and Pyramid. 
In Classic, kids can choose to have from 8-18 cards from which they find matching pairs of shapes & colors, numbers & letters, everyday objects, or a mix of all.
In Hide and Seek kids can choose to find between 6-8 characters in the dark. Kids get a few seconds to glance at the characters and where they are and then it goes dark except for their eyes. Migo, the polar bear, then shows a picture of his friend he wants your child to find. There is a flashlight tool that kids can use to help them play this game.
Pyramid is like Classic but taken up a notch because while kids can choose to start with between 8-12 cards, kids play three, instead of one, games of matching, one right on top of the next.
Toddler mode comes with two games, Classic memory and Hide and Seek. The toddler Classic mode is fantastic in that it is regular memory but with the cards facing up and kids only choose between 4-8 cards. This is perfect for teaching toddlers the names of things, because the word corresponding to each picture is pronounced at least twice when kids are trying to find matching pairs.
Toddler Hide and Seek isn’t much different from the preschool version except kids can see the characters shadows as well and only choose between 3-5 characters to find. The flashlight tool is available for use in toddler mode as well.

I love that kids get stars for every pair and that when kids just trail their finger along the screen in either Classic or Pyramid mode it makes a stardust trail. My 5 year old’s favorite aspect of the app was probably Migo clapping and Pandy, the panda, giving thumbs up after each game successfully completed. He began congratulating himself after they congratulated him. Classic games are classic for a reason, I was floored at how this app kept his attention and this memory game won’t be losing any cards.
