Math Pop is a fun math practice app for grade 1 to 5. It is designed by learning scientists at Carnegie Mellon University and all content is common core aligned. The best part is you get to do two practice sessions each day for free.

The interface is very fun that makes the game addictive. To start, you want to register a user, so you can track the progress. Then you can pick the practice you want to do.

There are over 250 game levels in the app covering more than 80 Common Core Standards. There are over 25 different game mechanics so kids always get something different and won’t be easily bored.

Number Sense: Count by 2,5,10,100; Order, Round and Compare Whole Numbers;
Addition Concepts: Addition properties; Make a number; Addition using Images; Addition based on Place Values; Addition Equations

Mixed Operation: Arithmetic Facts; Arithmetic Sentences; Multiple Operators

Parents can easily track kids’ progress from the tracking log. From the tracking, parents can see the time kids spend on each topic, how much practice they finished, and how many questions they answer correctly.

Math Pop is free to download, and you can have two free practice every day. If you need more practice, you can purchase the full version, which is $9.99. It is also available for Android on Google Play and Amazon app store, but there are 5 apps, with one app for each grade level.
