Learn 5 New Things Everyday with Curiosity post image

Do you know why birds have white and dark meat? How about human? Can you prove that the Moon Landing isn’t fake? Do you know basketball teams with teammates touching each other more often perform better? I learned all these with the free app Curiosity. It gives 5 fun facts with pictures and videos everyday. If you want to, you can also use their website on your computer.

I love how broad the topics are. You will find interesting topics in sports, science, math, food, art, health, life style, … I also like the unique angles they look at each topic. Even for topics that are covered in school, you will learn the subjects from a new perspective that you have never thought before.

For example, one of the topic is “can you survive quicksand”. There will be a cover picture with a fact that the force needed to pull one leg from quicksand is the same needed to lift a small car, which on average is 3180 lbs. From the picture with the fact, you can move on to a short video explaining the science reasoning. After this video, you will find more related videos from other sources, if you want to learn more about quicksand. Each video is about 3 to 5 minutes long, which are perfect to fit into your busy schedule. It is a great educational entertainment for waiting at the restaurants, or something to do after dinner.

Most videos are easy to understand so young children can watch with the family. Some videos use specific terms that may be hard to young children, but with the video styles being fun, young kids will still enjoy even they may not fully understand all.

Curiosity provides 5 videos each day, and you can always go back to earlier videos, or search by categories. As I mentioned earlier, you can use the free apps, or use the website, which is also free.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
