App Review and Giveaway: Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are?

Did I ever tell you how lucky you are – Seuss

I found this book app from Oceanhouse Media’s news release.  This is one of the less known book from Dr.Seuss.  In the book, Dr. Seuss reminds children that no matter what their struggles may be, they should always be thankful.  It is a powerful message, delivered in classical Seuss style with rhymes and silly words.

“Think of poor Ali Sard!  He has to mow grass in his uncle’s back yard, and it’s quick-growing grass, and it grows as he mows it.  The faster he mows it, the faster he grows it.”

So often, we take things for granted.  It is good to be reminded how lucky we are, compared to many others!  There is no better time to do this around the holiday season.  The book app is for kids age 3 to 9, but I think everyone can benefit from reading it.

Like other Oceanhouse Media apps, you can read the app in three way:Dr.Seuss: Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are

  • Read to Me: listen to the narrated story with words highlighted as they are read
  • Read it Myself: read the book in its traditional form
  • Auto Play: plays like a movie, automatically reading and turning pages. Great for younger children!

While kids reading the book, if they touch a picture, the corresponding words zoom up and are spoken.  If kids tap a single word on the book, that word will be highlighted and read aloud.

The app works on iPhone, iPod, and iPAD.  It is $3.99 on App Store.  You can download the app right now using the button provided below, or you can enter the Giveaway to win a free app.  For details, see the Giveaway instruction at the bottom of this post.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store button provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The button works for all countries.
