Musical Paint Pro is a very unique app combining music and paint in one activity. It is fascinating to “hear” what you are drawing. As described by the introduction on App Store, “Musical Paint Pro provides an engaging multi-sensory experience for all ages”.
What you have to do it is simple. Move your finger around the screen as you would drawing a picture. The difference is you are not only painting with lines and colors, but also musical tones. When you finish the painting, you can “listen” to your paint, in addition to see it. 
The interface is simple. You can choose color of your paint. You can also customize the characteristics of the drawing lines, such as the thickness, the transparency level, and the darkness of the color. Each touch on the screen is accompanied by a different music note. You can hear the music notes you created while drawing. Although I am not 100% sure about this, but looks like the note is determined by the location of the picture lines.
After you finish the picture, you can save it by tapping on the “check” sign at top right corner of the screen. The painting is saved in your library. Whenever you want to see or “listen” to your paint again, just tap on the picture icon at the top left corner, you can watch and hear your masterpiece unfold in front of you again – stroke by stroke accompanied by the corresponding music.
There is another app called Musical Paint developed by the same developer, and is particularly designed for kids. The function is the same, but with animated cartoon characters.

Parents and educators can use Musical Paint to help kids learn basics of music concepts, such as tones and pitches, as well as different colors.
