Be Creative with Monsters – Sago Mini Monsters

Sago Mini Monsters App

Sago Mini has a series apps designed for very young children. Most of their apps are targeted at toddler and preschool kids, although I always had fun with their apps too. Sago Mini Monsters is a fun creative monster app for the same age group. It is free for limited time on Apple App Store.

Kids start the app by making a monster first. The monster making process is quite unique, yet fit the monster theme perfectly. Kids will see something floating in a pile of slime. Using the finger hold on the unknown object and pull it out o the slime, it becomes the base for the kids to create monster. It is a monster-base, with nothing on it. Each time the shape is different, but you usually can tell where the head can go, or just put a head any where, it is a monster anyway! sago mini monsters - fun creative app for toddler preschooler

To create a live monster, kids can put on colors on the shape. there are color choices at the bottom of the screen inside the slime. So kids just need pull the colors out of the slime and draw whatever pattern they’d like.

When they are happy with their decoration, they can tap on the check button at the top right corner, and all the sudden, eyes, nose, hair, antenna, … jump out of the monster’s head. The new monster is born!

Now kids have to feed the monster with whatever food they can get, again, from the slime. The good thing is the monsters are not picky, they eat everything.

After food, it is time to brush teeth. Now kids can enjoy their well-fed and clean monster. Before tapping on the check mark again to send the monster away, make sure take a picture with in-app camera. Kids will have a monster picture in the device camera roll, not just any monster, but a monster they created.

Here is a short video showing how cute the monsters are:
