Nolan tries very hard to run back to his bed, but he simply cannot out run those monsters. Finally, Nolan must face the monsters. He turned around, and realizes there is nothing to fear. It is a short story with light interactions on each page. The narration is very kids friendly. You can also choose to have the sound and voice off.

The story teaches kids that monsters are imaginary in a subtle way. After the story, you can ask your child some questions, like “Have you seen monsters at night?” “What did those monsters look like?” Once kids start talking about it, as parent, you can usually figure out what they are. You can also play some monster shadow games, even make some monsters with kids to help them to realize that monsters are not real. This needs be a self-realization for kids.
