Free App: Babies Musical Videos from BabyFirst Video

BabyFirst Video

Do you have a baby at home? Would you like to have some free baby music video handy when you need them, like lullabies and nursery rhymes? Today’s app is called BabyFirst Video. It is available on iPhone, iPad, Kindle, and Android. It is free to download with more than 15 baby musical videos free.

The interface of the app is easy. After open the app, you see the open screen of the app – pictures showing categories of the videos. Each screen shows 6 categories. You can see more categories by sliding the screen to the left or tapping on the arrow at the top pointing to the right. Tapping on a category opens up the videos in that category. Most free videos are in the first 6 categories, ie. the first screen. You can tell which one is free by a little red button saying “free” on the video picture.

There are about 15 free videos in the iOS app currently, each lasts about 10 minutes.  Android app may have less free content.

There are about twenty categories of videos, such as lullabies, night time, Harry the Bunny. You can access the videos beyond the free ones via monthly subscription. It is $1.99 – $2.99 per month depends on the device.  One thing to note, the subscription will automatically renew unless you stop it. So if you don’t want more than one month access, make sure to disable the auto renew.

The app supports several languages, such as Chinese, Spanish. It is a great app for multi-lingual families, or if you want to expose your little ones to more than one languages. The only part that the language stays in English is the music category. All other videos are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Hindi, and Portuguese.

There is a parent control section that requires entering a code to get in. There you can find instructions on how to purchase the monthly subscription and how to disable the auto renewal. It is also the place you set the interface language.

Overall, it is a good free app for some nice free baby musical videos.  The thing I didn’t like is the ad on the open screen once awhile, so I highly recommend parents hold on the device till the actual video starts.  Otherwise, it is a nice resource of free baby musical videos to keep your little one occupied and stimulated.

BabyFirst Vidoe is available on iPhone, iPod and iPAD. It is also available on Google Play. It is Free to download with more than 15 free videos currently available on iOS apps. To access more videos, you can purchase monthly subscription via In-app purchase.
