Do you run into the occasion that you wish you and a friend or another family member or a coworker or a class mate can access the same file at the same time, like correct a mis-spelling on a document, draw a picture together, or co-sign a document? Today we have a Free app that make collaborations among multiple devices easy. It is a free app called Baiboard. It is available on iPad and Mac computer, so you can not only collaborate among iPads, but also between iPads and Mac computers.
When you open the app, you will see 3 sections: My Board, My Meets, and Nearby Meets.
My Board is the place for you to create contents.
You can import Photo files, PDF files, and Map. You can import files from your device photo album, Dropbox, Google Drive, Evernote, a website, or take a picture using your device camera.
You can also just create files from within the app, draw, type, write, add text bubbles, draw lines. You can choose from 8 color options for your lines. You can even create more than one pages in one document. You can also add all these to the documents you import from other sources, like adding notes on a PDF document, adding more lines to an existing drawing.
When you finish the document, you can export it to your device photo album, email, print, iMessage, or save it to your Dropbox or Evernote. You can also share it on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr.
My Meets Shows the collaboration project you initiated or are invited to.
If you want to collaborate with others on a project, you can create a board and then tap on the little icon looking like a notepad on the top right corner. You can then tap on “Start Meet”. The app will ask you to enter the email address for the person you want to invite to the board. You can also put in a password for the Meet. The invitee will receive an email with a link to that board. If they click the link they will see the same file as you are working on it. You two can work on the same file from different devices at the same time.
This is such a great feature for collaboration. For us, I can go over some worksheet with my son, and we can both just look at our own screen. This makes the collaboration location free. It is great for remote tutoring, classrooms where students and teachers have separate devices, business partners to work on projects from different locations.
Nearby Meets let you find Meets you are invited or close by.
If you are invited to a Meet, or there is one going on near you, you will see them here. To join, you can simple click on the Meet.
