Come Visit Us is a role play app where kids can learn to be a host, invite guests to tea parties or picnics. There is not much speaking in the app, which is perfect for imagination, story making, or vocabulary and language development.
When kids open the app, they get to choose one of the 3 language options. The one in the middle is English. Once the language is chosen, kids can pick one scene to play with: tea party, picnic, or Holiday party. Tea Party is free with the free download. The other two require In-App Purchase. 
When the scene is chosen, kids will see a screen that has 10-15 pictures of people. They all look different, some are old, some are young, some are male, some are female. There are also some animals. This is a great place to help kids gain some vocabulary about people, such as grandma, grandpa, father, uncle, or niece; as well as names for animals, like dog, cat, cow. This is also a place to talk about how to invite people to parties, and how to decide who to invite.
Once kids chose the guests, they will move to the food selection, where they can choose the food they want to offer to the guests. This is the place to learn food names, such as bread, cake, and fruit. It is also a place to talk about different food for different occasions.
The last scene is the party. Kids have to invite guests to sit down first. They will pick the food to put on each one’s plate. This is the tricky part. The food will disappear after a while, but you won’t see the guests eating them. I think it is something the developer need make some change. Before changes made on the app, you will have to explain to the kids before the food disappear, that the guests are eating the food. Kids can continue serving food till they feel the guests have enough. On this last scene, parents can explain to kids how to serve food for guests. It is also a good place to talk about table manners.
Before the party is over, kids can take a picture to be saved in the app or on the device camera roll.
Overall it is very simple app with some interactive animations on each page. It does not have much talking, thus can be used as a good teaching tool for preschool kids.
