Are you children interested in science? They are. Because kids are naturally curious, they are born to explore everything around them, and they want to know why. Science is in our every day life, and there are always things to show kids the magic of science. The challenge is parents are usually too busy or too occupied by other stuff to come up ideas to encourage kids’ exploratory nature and curiosity. I found some times good movies and TV shows can do the trick. Watching them with kids not only gives your bounding time, but also ideas to spark the little minds. Today we share our favorite science movies and TV shows for kids, from preschool to high school. This is our 3rd post in summer movies for kids series. Great STEM activity idea for kids in the down time or a rainy day. We listed the titles based on its target kids age, from youngest to oldest. We usually watch them on Netflix.

Sid the Science Kid: a science show for preschool kids, Sid is always curious and always have questions and can’t rest till he finds the answer.

The Magic School Bus: kids will follow the amazing teacher Miss Frizzle and her students on all kinds of adventures and learn about science in ways they can never imagine.

Bubble Guppies: Join Bubble Guppies in Mr. Grouper’s class as they playfully and musically explore preschool subjects like colors, farms, doctors, dinosaurs, and much more. They are great fun for preschoolers.
