Learn Plants Lifecycle with Garden Lab

Garden Lab

Garden Lab is an app designed for preschool kids to learn how to take care of plants.  It feels like a simulation game, but in a very simpler manner.  Kids will learn what it takes to grow flowers: seeds, water, sun light, and their work to take care of flowers.

When kids start the game, they get a free seed. They must plant the seed in the garden with a shovel. Then they will see sun or moon in the sky with floating clouds. There will be a sign of waters on top of the seed.  If kids drag the cloud to where the flow seed is planted, they will see rain coming down, and little green appears from the seed.  They can move the sun and moon to make the day and night change faster. Over time, they will see the seed grows into a plant and flower; the flower withers, indicating the need of more water; or the flower comes back if kids drag the cloud over the flower and rain comes down.Learn to take care of flowers with games

Kids will earn points for more seeds.  They can choose different types of flowers.  When they have two same flowers in full bloom, they will see bees coming. They have to grab the bees to touch both flowers, and then they will see a new seed created, that they can plant for more flowers in the garden.

Garden Lab is a simplified way to explain the flower’s life cycle to preschool kids or even a toddler. It not only teaches kids about flower’s life, but also all the elements around it. Such as:

– how nature’s cycles work: night and day, appearance, growth and reproduction of plants
– how some natural phenomena work: rain, wind, etc.
– how the theory of colour works: primary and secondary colours
– basic mathematical notions: adding and subtracting
– values of respect for and care of the environment

Garden Lab is a low key play. The setting is pleasant and relaxing. Kids can design their own garden in whatever way they want it be, and learn nature science at the same time.

Garden Lab is available for iPAD. It is $2.99 on App Store.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
