PBS Kids Wild Kratts

Wild Kratts Creature Power

We have been watching the PBS Kids Wild Kratts show almost daily for a long time.  Once I found out Wild Kratts has an app, I know I have to check it out.

If you are not familiar with Wild Kratts, it is a TV show series about wild animals on PBS Kids.  It combines science, adventure, and some mystery into fun stories, teaching kids many things about wild animals at an age-appropriate manner.  Kids from preschool to early elementary who like animals would love this show.  I am glad to see the app keeps the same style as the TV show.  For those Wild Kratts fan, this app could be a great extension to the TV show.

There are 3 games in the app:

Fly like a Bee to learn about flower pollination: kids guide the bee fly through flower fields, pick the right flowers for pollination.Wild Kratts Creature Power App

Help Elephants keep cool and clean: kids have to decide quickly what to use to bathe the elephants: for sun burns, for dirts, and for insects.

Help mother Raccoon feed her babies: kids not only learn what to feed a baby raccoon, also learn to be quick at catching food.

After the game, kids collect stickers, taking pictures with the Wild Kratts, and decorate the pictures with the stickers.

iGameMom Comments:

Wild Kratts app keeps consistent fun and educational style as the TV show.  Each of the three games focus on one specific science concept and related science facts.  Kids learn these concepts and facts all while playing games.  The only wish I have is to have more games in the app.

Wild Kratts works on iPhone, iPod, and iPAD.  It is $2.99 on App Store.
If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
