Truck Games on iPAD

More Trucks

My kids’ favorite apps to play have more than one game in them and so it is with More Trucks HD.  There are four different ways your child can play that focus on stacking, cause and effect, and finding solutions to problems.  Developing good hand-eye coordination often comes into play in this app as well.

Monster Truck:  Kids can choose to play with a monster truck and unlock different monster trucks with the completion of each course.  They can collect gold coins while running the course and must figure out how to get the hard ones.  Kids can jump and go left and right to try and reach them.  Also, the particular horn for your monster truck has more than a little to do with what truck you picked so make sure the kids try them all out.

MoreTrucksHD--igamemom.comFire Truck:  If your child chooses to play with the fire truck, they can play a mini game of tic-tac-toe while waiting for the fire alarm to go off.  When it goes off, the puppy goes down the pole and into the truck.  Kids drive the truck, play the siren, and once they put out two fires, are treated to townspeople celebrating their heroism.

Tow Truck:  When kids play with the tow truck, they load three cars onto a flatbed, follow the police escort to the junkyard, and then use the junkyard magnet to pile the cars into a trap where they can smash them.  The best part?  They smash them with a dinosaur’s foot!  I must admit to some piling high here myself, it makes the smash just that more satisfying.

Crane:  Last, but not least, is the crane and wrecking ball.  The game drops a load of blocks and kids move the crane to pick them up, one at a time, and move them over to a “construction” site.  There is an outline of a structure that kids can use as a guide to stack up their blocks.  Once they are finished, there is a little mouse on a wrecking ball just waiting to be clicked on it so you can wreck your masterpiece. There is also a bulldozer kids can also choose to wreck their structure.

NerdyBaker Comments:

My son’s favorite truck to play with by far was the crane and the wrecking ball.  You knew when he’d knocked his structure down because you’d hear a giggle.  I was also surprised at how easily he could maneuver his monster truck to get every last gold coin when I’d have skipped them because I thought they were too hard to get.  If he had to get his monster truck jumping while vertical to get it, he would.  My favorite part is still the different honking noises of the monster trucks, really funny.  For mom, its all in the details.

More Trucks HD is available for the iPad.  It is $1.99 on the App Store.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
