For so long, I forgot I had Kindle app on my iPhone and iPAD. With the app, I could download a Kindle book from Amazon on my iPhone and iPAD. In fact, Amazon has Kindle apps for all different devices: iPhone, iPod, iPAD, Android, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, Mac, Windows 7, XP, Vista, and Windows8. Here is the website if you need more information on Kindle apps. They are all free.
Once you installed the Kindle app on your device, you just have to login with your Amazon account user name and password. You should be able to buy and download books from your app on any device. The nice thing is all your books are automatically synchronized between your devices: furthest page read, bookmarks, and notes. If you have Kindle apps on your computer and iPAD, you can start reading a book on your computer, and then pick up where you left off on your iPAD.
Another great thing is Amazon’s new audible book service. They launched Audible app, which is synced with Kindle, as long as you use the same login as your Kindle account. With both Kindle and Audible apps, you can switch between reading and listening seamlessly. If you stopped at the end of page 5 on Kindle, when you start the book in Audible app, it will automatically pick up from page 6.
There are quite few good books are FREE. Some examples are:
Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell. Recommend age 9 – 12.
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum. Recommend for kids of all ages (especially now with Audible).
The Three Musketeers, by Alexandre Dumas. Recommend for kids age 12 and up.
Make sure to take advantage of the free apps and books. Hope you will find some books you like.
If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store button provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The button works for all countries.
