Valentines Sliding Puzzle

The best thing about apps is it only take 5 seconds to download – perfect for last minute activity and gift ideas.  Valentine’s day is tomorrow.  No matter you have plenty activity ideas or are still looking more, it never hurts to have couple more, especially when they are FREE.  Here are 6 FREE Valentine apps for kids.  All are educational.  They are the results of several week’s search.  Some were posted before, some are new.  Hope you will have fun with these apps as I do. 6 Free Valentine Apps for Kids from iGameMom

Disney Where's My ValentineDisney Where’s My Valentine?: from Disney.  It is a mini version of the most popular Disney apps Where’s My Water and Where’s My Perry.  Kids learn liquid physics and strategic problem solving while playing games.  It has 12 exclusive love-themed game levels starring Swampy and Perry, the two characters from Where’s My Water and Where’s My Perry.  Kids 5 and up will have fun with this one.

Valentine's Sliding PuzzleValentine’s Sliding Puzzle: a free game for all ages.  It is designed especially for kids to exercise their brain, and improve their logical and problem solving skills in a fun way.  The game has 9 levels, players automatically progress over the levels.  For younger kids, they can choose to stay at the lower level by repeat the same game.

Valentine CollageValentine Collage: use existing pictures or take one with the iPhone/iPAD, kids can make collages of photos with just several taps. They can use the template or use the freeform collages, cutouts, filters, borders, stickers, and text.  When they are done, they can share the collage with friend and family via Facebook, Twitter or email.  A perfect tool for a last minute valentine card.

First Word ValentineFirst Word Valentine: this is a fun free app that young children can play letter puzzle games with valentine related words. It is also a good exercise for fine motor skills.  Toddlers and preschoolers will love it with all the just enough animation, bright pictures, kids friendly interface, and upbeat voice.

The Cooper's Big Bear HugCooper’s Big Bear Hug: one of the interactive storybooks in the Interactive Story Buddy™ line from Hallmark Cards,   The App is free, and you don’t need the interactive Cooper Bear to enjoy the story.  I particularly like the Record You Own Reading feature – so parents who can not be with the children for any reason can record their own reading, and kids will still feel the love.

The Kissing HandThe Kissing Hand: a children’s classic, the print book was a New York Times #1 bestseller.  Compared to the print book, this book app has a lot new features that help early readers recognize the words.  It was set free after Neewtown shooting.  I am not sure how much longer it is going to be free, so if you have not get it yet, make sure get it before the price goes up.

I hope you enjoyed the list.   For more free apps, please visit my Free App page.
