Free App: Fun Family Game – Great for Improving Memory and Speed

Dotz

Are you looking for some fun app for the family to play together? Dotz is a free app that can be played by more than one players. It is a great game for fine motor, hand-eye coordination, memory, and reaction speed. It is currently free, and I don’t know when the free offer will end, so it is a good idea to get it now.

The game play is simple. There are colored dots on the screen. Players need to tap on the dots following the given order. You can see the given order at the top of the screen. Once you tap on the correct dot, that dot disappears. The goal is to get all the dots off screen as quickly as possible. Fun family game improving speed and memory

You can play the game as a single player or two players. There are 3 difficulty levels for each mode.

The challenges of the game:

The color background changes once a while. You won’t see the green dots on a green background. To be able to find the required dots quickly, it helps if you remember where the different colored dots are.

The dots will move. Just as you think you know where all the dots are, they move to different locations.  You have to re-learn where they are.

The app does put the players under pressure to finish as fast as they can. However, it only record the time when you finish the game. It will never stop the game before you find all the dots, unless you want to stop it yourself. With this setting, I see kids as young as preschool can play this game. It is a good app for them to learn colors and concentration. A parent can help tapping on some dots if necessary.

Dotz is available on iPhone, iPod and iPad. It is free right now on App Store.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
