Fun App for Kids to Learn German

Fun German App for Young Kids

Last year we had opportunity to visit Germany. While doing research about the country, I was quite surprised to learn that German is the most widely spoken native language in the European Union. Because not only Germany speak German, it is also an official language of many other countries, like Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Liechtenstein. It is also the native language of many other countries, such as Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, France, Poland, to just name a few. So understanding German can be very helpful if you are in Europe.

Learning a new language could be hard. But no one ever felt learning the first language being that hard. Why? Because it is a natural learning process. Since being a baby, we started by hearing other people around us talk, then started noticing there was a meaning corresponding to each word and sentence. Then as young as babies or toddlers, we started to practice making those meaningful sounds ourselves, and went from there, gradually, we are able to connect the words into sentences, and communicate with others. fun app for kids to learn German

The app Fun German is a condensed version of the natural learning process. It offers fun games to engage kids to play. At the beginning, kids just hear the words corresponding to the objects, repetitively. Gradually, through games, kids are engaged in written words, spellings, words in sentences. Kids will feel they are playing games, but in fact they are immersed in the German language environment.

There are 10 lessons in the app:
• Colors
• Animals
• Numbers
• The Body
• Fruits
• Food
• Clothes
• Vehicles
• The House
• Sea Animals

Each lesson has about 6 games, and the games in each lesson are not the same. The games are designed for kids age 3-10, so even young kids can learn the new language with the app.
