Fun Math Game App to Get Your Brain in Shape – Tower Math

Tower Math App

Tower Math is a math game app for kids developed by the same developer who created Stack the States and Stack the Countries, which are by far the most popular apps in our household. When my son turned 3 he knew where every state and every country was on the planet because of those apps. We would hand him a globe and he would proceed to show our adult friends where Chad, Mongolia and Liechtenstein were. So you can imagine our excitement when we found out the developers of these apps just created a math app. Fun math game app for kids - Math Tower

Tower Math is beyond my 4 year old at the moment, but so is Stack the Countries, so that doesn’t really stop us. This will be an app he will grow with as I have to admit, it is really fun to play. Not only is it engaging, it gets your brain in shape to recognize the answers to math equations quickly. After just using it a few times, my rusty math brain began to answer equations at a swift rate.

Here is the premise:

-The player first chooses addition, subtraction, multiplication or division.
-There are 18 levels to unlock under each category which gives the player a lot of math practice.
-‘Numbers‘ have been turned into monsters. The only way to free them is to build towers that lob something at them and set them free.
-When each level starts, the player is shown an aerial view of a path with different spots to build the towers.
-The only way a tower can be built is by answering a math problem. The bigger the tower, the bigger the problem.
-Each new level reveals a new type of tower or type of power the tower can use to keep the game fresh and fun.

Give it a try.  If you are just learning math or freshening up your skills, this will kick start your brain.

Tower Math is available for iPhone, iPod and iPad. It is also available on Amazon App Store. It is $0.99.
