Learn French with Fun Games

Fun French App for Kids

My son’s school opens two new foreign languages and he is going to take French in addition to Spanish. I am so glad to have the chance to check out the app designed for kids to learn French: Fun French – Language Learning Games for Kids Age 3 to 10. After playing it for a while, we both like it very much. I always feel it will be hard for me to pick up another language, but after playing the game for a while, I felt I might be able to start learning French! Learn French with fun games kids love
Designed for kids age 5 to 10, all learning contents in Fun French are built with games.

There are 7 units in the app: Colors, Animals, Numbers, Food, Vehicles, The Body, The House. In each unit, there are 6 sets of games. Some games are in more than 1 units, but not all units share the same games. Each unit has unique sets of games that work best to achieve learning objective for that unit.

For example, for the unit The House, kids will see Furniture Store and The Mover that are not in other units. In the Mover, kids will see someone trying to re-arrange furniture in the room. They hear one word, and tab the corresponding furniture.

In the Number unit, there are games with Telephone and Number Hunter. My son liked Bomb Ball, where kids play matching games with different balls. If they did not find a match, there will be a bomb dropped off on the screen, the only way to prevent explosion is to find a matching pair.

Each set of games has multiple levels. Once kids finish one level, the next level becomes a little harder with more words or requiring faster speed.

We love Fun French. It is really fun. Kids learn vocabulary, pronunciation, and spelling with fun games. After playing for a while, I felt I have in fact learned quite a few French words!

I am 23 years old and teaching myself French. I stumbled upon this site from pinterest, and I am so glad I did. So far, I have played the free colors game (but I can definitely see myself buying the whole pack); it is a lot of fun… and engaging! The way the app constantly repeats the numbers in french while showing it on screen is really helpful. Thank you for this!
