Three Disney story apps are on promotion price this weekend, one is FREE. There are all great apps, if you like them, this is a good time to buy.
It is a Small World ($1.99 from $3.99): an interactive sing-along storybook app that shares the beauty and peace between cultures around the world. Featuring the original Sherman Brothers’ song lyrics and Disney amusement park ride of the same name, the app takes kids on a world-class adventure via a hot air balloon ride that drops into different scenes. Kids can touch images in the scenes to make characters do different things, like build a snowman, play with animals. Packed with whimsical interactivity, beautiful artwork, and unforgettable music, this animated app encourages kids to meet new people, explore new places, and discover that it’s a small world, after all. A great sing along story app for toddler and preschoolers. Available for iPhone, iPod, and iPAD.
Toy Story Read Along (Free): a fully interactive reading experience packed with Games, Movie Clips, Coloring Pages, Sing-along Tunes, and Surprises on every page. Hear the story read aloud, record your own narration, or explore at your own pace. Kids will learn the meaning of true friendship. Available for iPAD only.
Toy Story 2 Read Along ($1.99 from $4.99): In this action-packed adventure, Woody learns all about his past and makes new friends that are sure to last a lifetime. Delightful animations and surprise features fill each page, and children can even record their own voice and listen to 
themselves narrating this lovable tale. Nice features include: text highlighting as the story is read, fully animated scenes from the movie on several pages, animated videos for the two songs included (When She Loved Me & Woody’s Roundup). Toddler and preschool can listen to the story, while early readers can read the book by themselves. This app is good for kids of broad age range. Available for iPAD only.
Toy Story 3 Read Along ($1.99 from $5.99): This cinematic, interactive storybook app features characters from Toy Story 3. The settings and features are similar to Toy Story 2 Read Along, such as word highlights, coloring pages, puzzles. In addition, there are 2 mini games where kids can watch Woody soar above the town, help him to safety in “Hang Glider” and have a blast with Buzz as they overcome thrilling obstacles in “Falling with Style”. Five pages have 3D effects, but only when you are reading with the 3D glasses. Like Toy Story 2 Read Along, this app suites kids age 2-9 with different reading options. Available for iPAD only.
