Monki Shake It is a new app of fun learning games for toddler and preschool age children. It is very easy to play. A toddler or a preschooler can easily play it by themselves. Kids learn to recognize different objects, count objects, match and sort be various features, and practice fine motor skills.
There are 4 games in the app, and the first one is free coming with the free download.
Identify the musical instrument: kids see two instruments in the river, one on each side of a boat. They are asked to pick up of the instrument. Kids need decide which one of the two they need pick up, and steer the boat to the left or right by tilting the iPad or iPhone. Once they successfully pick up 5 instruments, they are rewarded with one to keep in their treehouse.
Pair mother and baby animals: kids are following the instructions to find the mothers for the lost baby animals, by tilting the device screen or tapping on the correct direction. Once all mother and babies are united, kids get one animal sticker as reward.
Counting the fruits: kids are asked to pick the correct number of fruits to feed the animal friends. Kids not only learn fruit names, but also counting.
Pick the toys: kids are told a toy name, and they have to pick one among the two pictured toys.
After kids finish all 4 games, there is a game including all objects they’ve learned from the 4 games. Kids lead an airplane throughout the sky to pick out the asked objects.
At any time, kids can access the treehouse, where they keep all their rewards. Kids can decorate the treehouse with their reward stickers.
Overall, Monki Shake it is a fun preschool learning app. Kids gain vocabulary and fine motor skills.
