Math challenge based on Tiny Tower game

I created a math problem for my son when we played Tiny Tower together. Hope you can use it for your child as well.

The problem:

It takes 25 seconds for the elevator to move from first floor to the 5^th floor. How long will it take it to move from first floor to the 9^th floor?

The correct answer is – 50 seconds. Did you get it right? Make sure you get it right before asking your child.

If he/she doesn’t get it, show him/her the picture.

You can change the numbers based on your child’s level – if he only learned math within 10, you can change 25 to 2.

If you child is learning decimal places, you can change 25 to 12.4, etc.
