We have reviewed several Grandma Grandpa series apps. I love the fun grandma and grandpa and the interesting learning activities they have. Today they launched a new app called Grandma’s Preschool. If you have a preschool age child, check it out. Your child will love it. It is essentially a preschool on your tablet. Kids can learn and play preschool at home.
When kids start the app, they will see a room like most preschool classroom. There are several stations in the room: Reading station, science station, Art Station, … Kids are free to go to any station to check it out or do the activities there. If kids visit a station more than once, they will see different activities from the station.
For example, at the science station, kids will learn to plant seeds and watch the seeds grow into plants of fruits and vegetables; at the art station, kids will draw with crayons, or color letters; for the decorated tree on the wall, kids will see letters at one time, numbers at another time, and shapes another time; on the white board, kids will be able to learn numbers, alphabet, or play puzzles.
At the animal station, kids will learn to take care the guinea pigs. Some times they need set the cage, some times they need put the guinea pigs back to the cage. Since there are two guinea pigs, they need to put them in the cage at the same time, otherwise, the one in the cage will always come out when kids try to catch the other one. This is a great way to force kids to use both hands.
Don’t forget to go outside by tapping the door. Kids will love the outdoor activities too.
Grandma’s Preschool is a preschool on your iPad and iPhone. The app not only provides a broad curriculum of basic skills education for preschool kids, but also give kids a feel what a real preschool is like. In addition to social and academic skills, children learn about the school environment, expectations, roles, and routines. It is a great app to have if you are sending child to preschool.
Grandma’s Preschool is available on iPhone, iPod and iPad. It is $2.99 on App Store.
If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
