Noggin is a free app that provides subscription based streaming shows for preschool kids. At the end of the free trial, you can discontinue the subscription, or the app will automatically charge your iTunes account for the next month.

It is a new service from Nickelodeon. The shows included in the app: Allegra’s Window, Blue’s Clues, Blue’s Room, Franklin and Friends, Gullah Gullah Island, Little Bear, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, Ni-Hao, Kai-lan, Oswald, Pocoyo, Robot & Monster, The Upside Down Show.

Kids can also watch music videos from Backyardigans, Fresh Beat Band, Dora, Yo Gabba Gabba, and many more.

There are also educational videos from Moose & Zee. Kids will follow the co-adventurers on fun-filled journey to explore numbers & shapes, letters & sounds, music, art, manners, and much more. Through songs and educational segments like “Puzzle Time,” “Mighty Fine Art,” “Letter Safari,” and “Moosebeard the Pirate,” kids can practice skills that will help them get ready for school.

The developers have promised to add new videos every week, so subscribers will always get new shows, episodes, and music/educational videos.

The design is very kids friendly. With the help of audio greetings and instructions, kids can discover videos all by themselves.

The monthly subscription is tied to the iTunes account of the subscriber and is accessible on any device tied to that account but not for family-sharing. If your device has data plan, then you will have option to specify that the videos only play on Wi-Fi to not use cellular data.

Do remember, the subscription renewal is automatic, and is not within the app. If you want to stop the subscription, you have to do it in the iTunes setting. Even if you delete the app from your device, if you don’t stop the subscription, you will be charged on your iTunes account. There is an instruction on how to stop subscription in the parent section, under Subscription and Billing.

If you would like to check it out or purchase it, please use the App Store link provided below. The cost is the same to you, but iGameMom gets a small percentage. Thanks for your support! Note: The link works for all countries.
