New Comprehensive Math Program with Daily Free Math Drills

Splash math grade 1 to 5 app

I have reviewed Splash Math app series last year. We have been using it almost daily for my son’s math practice. I was really glad to know that Splash Math has updated their program to make it available on the internet, with new price structure. You can now have daily free math drills of maximum 20 questions if you sign up for a free account.
20 free math problems everyday with a free account
This is great news for those who don’t have iPAD. Now your child can have access to these common core aligned math practice on your computer.

For those who have iPADs or iPhone, you will find it more convenient to be able to sync between iPAD and computer. Now kids can practice math on computers or mobile devices, and you don’t have to worry about losing track of progress.

The price structure change makes it more cost effective for family use.  For single grade content, the price is $9.99, the same as the app.  If you need more than one grade levels, which are mostly the cases, even if you just have one child, you can pay $29.99 to have all 5 grade levels. In addition, you can have 20 problems for free everyday with a free account. This is great for you to test it out if you are interested, but not sure if kids will like it or not.

I just tried on both app and web, both run very smoothly.  The content are as comprehensive as the apps for each grade, but now you have options to access more than one grades within one app.  This makes tracking kids performance across grade levels possible.

Here are the key features of the program:

  1. Content Coverage: 300+ math concepts (Grades 1 to 5)
  2. Curriculum aligned with Common Core State Standards
  3. Can access from iPad, desktops and laptop
  4. Self-paced math practice program
  5. Explanation for wrong answers
  6. Scratchpad for rough work
  7. Virtual rewards and games
  8. Monitor progress with real-time progress dashboard
  9. Progress synced across multiple iPads, desktops and laptops.
  10. HD graphics and sound effects to give an amazing game play experience.

What I liked most as a parent is the progress reports. I can see detailed progress. I can also see kids performance detailed at skill levels, such as: Read and set Time, Divide by 3, or Measuring length. I know what skills my son has mastered, what skills he need more practice. My only wish is the ability to assign practice. I used this feature in the single grade apps a lot, and hope this can be added to this multi-grade program too.

Asking questions are genuinely pleasant thing if you are not understanding something completely, but this article
    presents pleasant understanding even.
